Chesapeake City had their annual St. Patricks Day parade in town yesterday (followed by a pub crawl for the adults). The Philadelphia Mummers Band (Duffy String Band), Clydesdales from nearby Winbak Farms, some great classic cars, High School bands (from Bohemia Manor, Rising Sun, and Elkton) were some of the highlights of the parade.
The Chesapeake City Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Chesapeake City did a great job with the parade. Every year, Chesapeake City seems to be doing better and better with their family friendly events (Pet Parade, 4th of July Fireworks, Winterfest, St Patricks Day Parade…etc). Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and enjoying the fantastic weather. Our little town has such a nice family friendly atmosphere with several great and free family events. My wife, daughter and I had a great time.
