I used to read wedding vendor reviews and wonder how someone could give 5 stars. Yet here I am, doing the same thing without hesitation. Photography and DJ were my top two must-be-perfect parts of our October 9, 2017, wedding at The Waterfall. I initially went with a lower priced all-in-one company but after our engagement shoot, I was left wanting more and so began my search all over. Somehow, I think by divine intervention, I stumbled upon Kevin’s page. The first thing that caught my eye was his tip that photographers should show more than 10 pictures of a wedding in their portfolio. Kevin’s portfolio easily had over 50 images per wedding, giving me a better sense of his style. Photojournalistic style is my preference and I LOVE macro shots. Kevin has both these qualities. I also loved that Kevin believes in staying until the very end of a reception because that’s when the good stuff happens. No other photographer said that! Most said they’d leave right after they key stuff ended. Boo! Kevin was responsive, professional, kind, and very accommodating. He and his second photographer (his beautiful and equally kind and talented wife, Alyssa) arrived on time to capture the pre-wedding fun and moved seamlessly between the various locations, taking little time to set up. They’re an easy-going pair who clearly love what they do! If you’re looking for a photojournalistic style, you won’t regret choosing Kevin. Honestly, even if you’re into portraiture, I’d recommend Kevin. He is moderately priced and I believe his talents are worth every cent. Kevin delivered our pictures within a couple months as promised both online and on a flash drive. They stayed until the lights came on and we made it worth their while! We loved how they captured so many pictures of our guests, the cake, and the venue. We relived special moments and got to see some new one we missed. We sent our guests pictures Kevin captured of them and everyone raved about them.
